Cheryl J. Craig, Ph.D. is Professor and Chair of Teaching & Teacher Education and holds the Houston Endowment Endowed Chair of Urban Education in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture at Texas A&M University. She is also the Founding Director of the Collaborative for Innovations in Teacher Education (CITE). Her internationally recognized research lies at the intersection of teaching, teacher education, and curriculum, with a strong focus on narrative inquiry. Dr. Craig works closely with preservice and in-service teachers, particularly in underserved school contexts, examining how educational reforms shape teachers’ professional knowledge, identities, and practices, as well as the unintended consequences for student learning. She currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Teacher Education and Executive Editor of Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice. Dr. Craig is also President of the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (2019–2025). Elected as a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), one of the highest recognitions in her field, she has received multiple lifetime achievement awards and is widely regarded as one of the most influential scholars in teacher education globally.

Professor LOW Ee Ling is the President’s Chair Professor in Education (Applied Linguistics & Teacher Education) Dean of Academic and Faculty Affairs and an elected member of the university senate at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She is concurrently appointed as an adjunct professor at the Department of English, Linguistics and Theatre Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the National University of Singapore from 1 September 2024 where she was most recently awarded with the Distinguished Alumni award in 2025. She has served in senior academic leadership positions shaping Singapore’s teacher education landscape, including as Dean of Teacher Education. Internationally recognized as a thought leader in teacher education and world Englishes, Professor Low has been appointed to the OECD Education 2030 Scientific Committee, the Forum for World Education Steering Committee, and has served as an international expert for teacher preparation reviews in Wales and Australia and is also a Governing Board member of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. Her work has significantly influenced teacher education policy and practice in Singapore and beyond, including the development of the Teacher Education for the 21st Century (TE21) model. Professor Low’s research spans applied linguistics, teacher education, and educational change, with an H-index of 37 and over 7,900 citations. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the AILA Review (2021-2024) and serves on multiple international editorial boards, including World Englishes and the Journal of Educational Change. Elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Education (IAE) in 2022, she is now the President-elect of the IAE, she has received numerous honors, including the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) from the President of Singapore.

After graduating from Erzurum High School, he completed his undergraduate education at Süleyman Demirel University, Burdur Faculty of Education. He received his master’s degree in 2001 and his doctorate in 2005 from the Institute of Social Sciences at Atatürk University. He was awarded the title of associate professor in 2011 and full professor in 2017. In 2013 and 2024, he conducted research at Kent State University, Ohio. He began his academic career as a teacher within the Ministry of National Education and later served at Dumlupınar University and Yıldız Technical University. At both universities, he held the position of department chair; in addition, he served as Director of Domaniç Vocational School, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences at Yıldız Technical University, and Dean of the Faculty of Education. He founded and took on the editorship of Yıldız Journal of Social Sciences and Journal of Turkish Education. He was among the organizers of the Turkish Education Congress (2018, 2020, 2022). He has published numerous articles in national and international journals, focusing on education, Turkish language and literature education, children’s literature, and reading education. Since 2014, he has been working at the Faculty of Education, Yıldız Technical University, where he currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Social Sciences and Turkish Education. In 2025, he was appointed President of the Academy of National Education.

After completing his undergraduate education in 1998 at Gazi University, Faculty of Education, he pursued his master’s degree at the University of Missouri in the USA and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Illinois. In 2007, in order to fulfill his compulsory service obligation after his doctorate, he returned to Turkey and started working as a faculty member at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Education. During his academic career at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, he served as department chair, vice dean, acting secretary general, senate member, and advisor to the rector. He worked at the European Commission in Brussels as an evaluation expert in sector–university interaction projects and Horizon Europe projects; in addition, in 2011 he was a visiting scholar at London Metropolitan University, and between 2016–2018 he served as a faculty member at the University of Hamburg. Between 2020–2022, Eryaman served as the president of the World Education Research Association and is currently the managing editor of the journals International Journal of Progressive Education and Educational Policy Analysis and Strategic Research. He also continues to serve as a series editor at world-renowned publishing houses Springer and Routledge, and as a regional editor at Bloomsbury Publishing. He is currently the chair of the board of directors at the International Association of Educators (INASED), an international educational organization based in Chicago, USA.

Süleyman Sadi Seferoğlu completed his undergraduate studies in Ankara in the fields of Radio-Television and Educational Sciences, and received his master’s and doctoral degrees from Columbia University in the USA. After his doctorate, he worked as a researcher at the National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools, and Teaching (NCREST), affiliated with the same university, and conducted studies on the use of information technologies in education. He is currently a faculty member at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Faculty of Education, Hacettepe University. Seferoğlu has authored numerous national and international books, book chapters, articles, and conference papers addressing various aspects of technology use in education. His main research interests include instructional material design, new technologies and learning, teacher competencies, technology policies, online and mobile learning, information security, teacher education (pre-service and in-service), internet risks and threats, digital addiction, social media, children, and media.
